There are 3 similar vocabularies referring to "TIME" and "Condition" in Japanese「何時…/いつ…」

It seems like there are not big differences among the 3 vocabularies describing "TIME" by reading those. Yet you would figure out the ways how Japanese people are using those words by referring to the explanations.


いつ: Means 「When, What time」 In case you want to confirm the time. "When are you going to____?" For example: We use it in a sentence like :

何時だかまだわからない〝I don't know when it will be yet" " I am not sure when...."

何時も/いつも: Means 「Always, in all cases」. For example: We use it in a sentence like :

その店はいつも混雑している 〝That store is always crowded.〞

何時でも/いつでも: Means 「All the time, any time」. Same meaning as「どんな時でも」For example: We use it in a sentence like :

午後2時以降なら何時でも構わない 〝It’s fine with me any time after 2:00 pm.〞
